Comment : I know this was on a track and was a lot easier than it would be on a road but I was encouraged at how easy it felt to run at less than marathon pace for 10 miles. I was tempted to try and run a 1.25 half early on but copped on and held back, telling myself that this was only a training run. I know I'm supposed to keep the miles constant but couldn't help pushing it a bit at the end to see how it felt and it felt comfortable which I suppose in itself is a good sign.
