Comment : Mick slept in so I went ahead and he went later which I was a blessing in disguise in that I could go to the I.T instead of doing the pure long loop. Lovely warm morning so just eased into it. Brought two Viper gels, took one - disgusting things. Brought 500 mls water - didn't take it all. Will try to get the GU gels in Barton Smiths, they seem to be the only ones I can stomach. Found the marathon paced miles hard, hope it's just a bit of fatigue after "Warriors". Found the last 8 miles easy however. Overall felt good throughout.
